reach out an open hand, don't bash with a closed fist

I find it kinda funny how we are so adverse in seeking help from others. typically our pride, an extension of our ego, gets in the way. it seems many times in asking for help we see it as a public admission of some personal defect. and so our pride can shame us into silence. for if we are deficient in an area, is it not better to gain and share in the company of someone in the know? or is it better to wallow in our own stubbornness?

there are many times when learning and doing things on our own may be more beneficial & advantages. we must also learn there are things in life that require the assistance of others. Many challenges can not be overcome alone.

pride is not a bad thing, but it should move us forward. it should be a positive motivator. when it hinders our growth it then becomes an obstacle.

even Jesus had his apostles.
