it has been a whirlwind this past month for me. christmas spending has come early. well almost. most of the spending has been on me though. outside of my sister's new bed matress & box spring and also the vacation time spent by the batchelders with me.
i bought myself a new digital camera. considering how much i take pictures, i have never had a pocket sized camera. from every recollection, i have always had a full digital slr. well not anymore. so knowing my friends the batchelders would be down for labor day weekend, i got the canon sd850. it is very much a sweat camera. i did not think i would say that about a non slr camera, but i am saying that now. granted after taking pictures with a semi-pro camera most of my life, i can still tell the difference in pictures. even though the new camera is capable of taking higher pixilated images. but the convenience & ease due to the smaller size indeed made it worth it.
but this was not even my most exciting purchase, which says alot for what i did purchase next. hearing last week the price cut in iphones by $200, i lost most of my reservations in buying one. i had the opportunity to play with my friend's iphone about 2 months ago. and it was such a unique & profound experience. the iphone represents the next evolutionary step in cell phones and communication. i could go on forever about this one. but i won't. i love having my iphone in a way i did not think i would. it's like getting my first ever cell phone all over again.
well i'm off to mess with it some more.

you failed to mention that you have no intentions of fully using the capabilities provided by the iphone, which is digracefull on many levels. shame on you :)
